Great is His Faithfulness

For the third time this year, someone close to me has had to say goodbye to their baby.  My heart aches.  I don’t understand why.  I don’t know what to say.


What can I say?


“In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart!  I have overcome the world.”


John 16:33


Life is precious and I am so blessed.  I have four healthy children and a husband who loves me. 


Today, I am going to have a tea party with my girls.  I will play trains with my boys.  I will snuggle and read extra books.


I will cherish each moment.


I do not know what each day will bring.  I do not know what trials may come my way.


“Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.'” Lamentations 3:21-24


Great is His faithfulness.


Take time to love on your kids today and please pray for my dear friend who lost her baby this week.

    Praying for her, its the worst pain I have ever felt! Hugs to you as well for being a great friend.

    And sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all, honestly no words can make the hurt go away. No one can understand EXACTLY what she is feeling every loss is different. The best thing for me was just a simple “I am sorry and I am here foryou” All else does not matter. Just be there listen and willing to give a hug. Sorry for another loss, take care. 🙁

    I am so sorry for your friend, I almost lost my son 13 years ago and it still haunts me, I know it isn’t half as bad as your friend, but I think I understand part of her heartbreak.

    I have no words, sending prayers her way to help get through it.

    Wow – so tough. Several years ago a child in my daughter’s class at school died from an accident. I, too, had no words – there just aren’t any at that point in time. But I went and sat quietly with her – held her when needed – but just sat with her. I think that is oftentimes how God uses us – as His arms to hold and just his presence in a physical form to sit and feel their pain. Praying for your friend.

    You have given her the best advice…the Lord is with her and will never leave her…and he know what it feels like to loose a child. Just let her know you are praying for her……that is the best thing we can do for one another ! In His Holy Name, Janna

    Praying for her. So sorry. I have been there and it stinks bad. Please pray for my grand daughter Ollie as she has heart surgery on June 9th. I am trusting God to heal her. He is good all the time.
